Ron Bettin, MBA, PMP, CMC

President & Principal Advisor

Ron Bettin is the President and Principal Advisor of Adduco Inc., bringing more than 30 years of executive leadership experience helping organizations lead change, manage complexity, and improve operational performance. He is a trusted strategic advisor, international keynote speaker, facilitator, and executive coach recognized for connecting strategy, leadership, technology, and execution to help organizations achieve lasting results.

Professional Background: Throughout his career, Ron has held executive leadership, operational, project, and consulting roles across the energy, industrial, engineering, and infrastructure sectors in Canada and internationally. As founder of Adduco, he has advised executive teams on organizational strategy, operational excellence, major projects, governance, change management, and leadership development.

Ron began his career as an "intrapreneur," leading innovation, transformation, and operational improvement initiatives within major upstream and midstream energy companies. His leadership experience includes facility start-ups, asset management, mergers and acquisitions, organizational transformation, operational readiness, and international assignments.

More than 16 years ago, Ron embraced entrepreneurship, founding several successful ventures spanning oil and gas exploration, consumer products, coworking, and strategic consulting. He holds an MBA from Queen's University and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. Beyond consulting, Ron is a sought-after keynote speaker and actively contributes to industry through advisory boards, professional associations, executive education, and thought leadership.

Away From Work: Ron believes leadership extends well beyond the workplace. He serves as a Director with the Bridgeland Riverside Community Association and enjoys mentoring students and emerging leaders through SAIT and Higher Landing. He and his wife, Sheila, have two adult children and are proud grandparents. When they are not travelling, they enjoy discovering local restaurants, listening to live music, and spending time with family and friends.

Casey Baker, B.A. Sc.

Adduco Associate

Casey Baker is an asset management, maintenance and reliability leader with more than 30 years of experience across energy, industrial and public-sector organizations. He specializes in operational readiness, maintenance strategy, reliability improvement, enterprise asset management systems, work process optimization and complex program delivery.

Professional Background: Casey’s experience spans oil and gas, LNG, pipelines, minerals and metals processing, pulp and paper, power generation, transportation and municipal operations. His career includes leadership and consulting roles with Reliability Essentials Inc., Pembina Pipeline, Fluor, Sherritt Metals, Cenovus Energy, Encana, BP Canada, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Canada’s Department of National Defence. He has led major asset management programs, operational readiness initiatives, turnarounds and enterprise system implementations. Casey holds an honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Metals and Materials Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He is also trained in reliability-centred maintenance and holds Plant Engineering and Maintenance certification through PEMAC, where he has served as an instructor.

How Casey Helps Clients: Casey begins each engagement by developing a clear understanding of the organization’s objectives, challenges and operating environment. Through active listening, observation, operational immersion and focused inquiry, he identifies practical, high-value opportunities for improvement. He helps clients strengthen maintenance and reliability programs, prepare new assets for operation, improve work management, implement asset management systems and translate operational improvements into measurable business results. His approach combines technical expertise, strategic leadership and disciplined change management to create improvements that can be adopted and sustained.

Away From Work: Outside of his professional work, Casey and his wife, enjoy travelling, hiking, skiing, and spending time in the Rockies with their two teenage children.

Eric Meng, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., P.E

Adduco Associate

Eric Meng, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., P.E., is a senior Water Process and RAM Engineer with over 20 years of Canadian industrial and municipal water treatment experience. He specializes in process design, optimization, process technologies, hydraulics, process and reliability engineering simulations for complex facilities across oil sands, mining, municipal infrastructure projects.

Professional Background: Eric has led major water across Canada including SAGD facilities, tailings water treatment, municipal WWTP upgrades, advanced membrane systems, and large‑scale RAM studies. His portfolio includes work for Husky Energy, Shell Canada Inc, Imperial Oil Resources, Suncor, Syncrude Canada Inc., Nexen, Talisman Energy Inc. and NorthWest Redwater Partnership, Canadian Natural, Petronas Energy Canada, LyondellBasell Industries and Harvest Operation Corp.

He has served as a Principal Process Engineer and now operates Calgary Water and RAM Consulting Ltd. Eric holds a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Toronto and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in both Canada and the United States.

How Eric Helps Clients: Eric helps clients solve complex reliability challenges by combining deep process engineering expertise with rigorous RAM analysis. He identifies bottlenecks, optimizes system availability, enhances redundancy strategies, and improves operational reliability for both new and existing facilities. His approach integrates data‑driven design, clear process control philosophies, and practical O&M considerations to deliver solutions that reduce risk, improve uptime, and support long‑term asset performance. Whether upgrading municipal plants or optimizing industrial water systems, Eric provides clarity, precision, and engineering confidence.

Away From Work: Based in Calgary, Eric brings a practical, collaborative mindset shaped by decades of hands‑on engineering work. Outside of projects, he enjoys staying connected to emerging water and RAM related technologies. After work, Eric like hiking, listing to music, traveling and chatting with people.

Antoinnette Douville-Mackie

BSc, MCE | Adduco Associate

Antoinnette Douville-Mackie is a senior human resources generalist and licensed Insights Discovery practitioner with more than 30 years of experience. She specializes in recruitment, workforce and succession planning, leadership development, workplace learning, performance management and employee relations across private, public and not-for-profit organizations.

Professional Background: Antoinnette’s experience spans the energy, financial services, retail, agriculture, healthcare and not-for-profit sectors. Since becoming an independent consultant in 1999, she has supported organizations through senior recruitment, human resources advisory services, leadership development and learning initiatives. Her previous leadership roles include Staffing and Development Manager for Canada at The Home Depot, Regional Human Resources Manager with Rogers Video, and Manager of Recruitment and Training with First Calgary Savings. Antoinnette holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Continuing Education specializing in workplace learning from the University of Calgary. He has also taught human resources management as a sessional instructor at the university.

How Antoinnette Help Clients: Antoinnette brings a practical, hands-on approach to helping organizations strengthen their people practices and leadership capabilities. He supports clients with recruitment, workforce and succession planning, performance management, employee relations, leadership development, executive coaching coordination and organizational assessments. As a licensed Insights Discovery practitioner, she helps individuals better understand themselves, recognize their strengths and increase self-awareness. Her workshops combine adult-learning principles with real workplace challenges to create interactive, meaningful and practical learning experiences.

Away From Work: A native Calgarian, Antoinnette enjoys meditation, reading, travel, heart-healthy cooking and staying active. He serves as Vice President, Sustainers, on the Junior League of Calgary Board and enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult daughters.
